RIDERS

Nickname: They call me the Wildman

Age: Thirty-four & still holdin’ it down.

Home: Huntington Beach, CA. But plenty of time is spent in Philly, Taiwan, and airplanes & hotels.

What do you do on your bike: I shred like your brother’s mother. Nah, I race in the Vet Pro class, do tricks on jumps, and ride down to the beach as much as I can.

Favorite spots:
Trails- East Coast, Posh style
Track- Any track with a difficult Pro section that is MANDATORY for ALL pros.
Lifestyle- My house & the beach. I don’t get to chill there enough.
Place- Southeast Asian islands, Eastern Europe, and South America

Plan of attack: Build the SE brand into the powerhouse that it should be. Make good bikes, sponsor cool riders, create a good image, and still ride my bike all along the way.

Free time: Never heard of it.

After dark: The freaks come out at night…

Wake up: Typically around 8am. I’m usually excited about the day ahead of me when I get out of bed. I like to “attack” each day and handle thangs.

Down the road: My life won’t be so hectic. I’d like to have more time to chill and kick it with my girl and our little animals.

It all started: In 1981 when my uncle Jim bought me my first bike and took me out to the BMX track in Dayton, OH. Ever since then, my life has evolved around my BMX bike. Twenty-five years later, I’m still into it. It’s kept me out of the “normal penguin” rat race.

It’ll end: I’ll always be riding something somewhere. Maybe not racing full time, but still BMXin’.

Were you alive when SE was created? Yeah, I think I was about 5yrs old.

Favorite thing about SE: Being able to create the image behind the brand. The bikes, the team, the ads, etc. Taking my thoughts and plans and turning them into reality. The boss-man gives me a lot of freedom, so that’s always cool.

When you grow up: Man, that’s a scary thought!

Words: It’s your life. YOU are the ONLY one who can “Make it Happen.”
